This one is for sure way different then what I have been submitting recently. Its actually a christmas present for a friend who wanted an acrylic painting of nothing but pixar characters. It took me a super long time to figure out the direction i would take it, lots and lots of waisted hours before I settled on this composition. I would say all together from roughs to finished painting somewhere in the neighborhood of FIFTY waisted hourse of my life. I'm actually really sick of looking at it. But I am happy with the finished version, don't get me wrong.

I was gonna go in a more Tim Rogerson direction but that dude can't be touched as far as his design, so I had to "dumb it down" as Lupe would say. Each character is essentially unchanged from the reference photos I snagged them from (I cheated I know). It would have taken even longer for me to think up original poses for each of these dudes.

The size is about 18x24

All together I have 14 characters, at least one character from every Pixar film to date.
